With Christmas, New Years, and a new semeater I have been extremely busy... So, this Christmas I stayed home. I got my dream present A CELL PHONE! It is awesome :) For New Years I went to Idaho, to visit my grandparents. With the new semester, I have new classes including health and PE. I am enjoying my classes, a lot of friends are in my class. Kristyn also has 3 classes with me, and the teachers better watch out :) Some new friends include Madi, Tanner, Hayden, Ali, Makenna, Mikaylie, and a lot of others! So, that is my life right now in a nutshell.

School has been fine... Busy busy. Nothing tons has happened though. My life is full of school, then homework, then school again. I did go to Mexico over Thanksgiving, and that was so much fun. Since it's almost Christmas (11 days!), I'll go through what I want from "Santa" 1 Cell Phone 2 Cell Phone 3 Cell Phone 4 Boots 5 Cell Phone And that is my list! We aren't going anywhere for Christmas, except for going skiing and possibly going to Idaho. And it's my bestest friends birthday!!! I am so so so excited to be out of school!!!

mexico (man my life is crazy)

2 days before leaving for Mexico (4 days after being home from Girl's Camp) I learned that my Bestie in the whole world was coming to Mexico with me!!!! It was the best day ever! We immediately started packing and planning. It was her first time ever being on the beach- and the water there was warm and beautiful. The beaches are bare and there are sand dunes behind- perfect for riding 4 wheelers... Which we did- and got majorly stuck on a hill- there was a huge sand bubble around us and suddenly my grandpa seemed like Superman when he rescued us! Most of the time was spent on the beach- playing in the waves and boogie boarding. I did happen to get stung by a little bitty sting ray- and a couple harmless jellyfish- but I am fine... Everyone says I am so tan now... EXCITING! I bought a lot there- a dress, shirt, and a necklace. It was super fun to be there- Fanta Strawberry was mostly what we drank and it is my new favorite drink (right Kristyn!). So excited to go back again...

Another matter... 6 letter- 1 stinkin syllable...
s-c-h-o-o-l

I hate to say it but yes... School is approaching... I'll talk about my first day when it comes around...

Meanwhile... Enjoy some pics of Mexico! I don't have tons cause my camera broke and so my grandma has most of them...

from the beach to the mountains

This may take a while... Beware...

So, July 21st was the beginning of a very busy vacation. Every 3 years, my family travels up to Cannon Beach for a wonderful, beach stay for a week and a half. My personal family went up early to spend time with my mom's friend and her family. We went kayaking and paddle boarding together... We went into Portland and rode awesome little carts/bike things. After that we walked around forever until we found a place to eat... However- we were the only kids and spilled 2 waters (one spilled on me) and laughed so hard I think they were about to kick us out. So, yeah, that was Portland. We also went to a farmer's market. And we also had a dance party- lot's o' fun! Both families have kids about the same age- so it was cool to hang out with friends from another state- and see what middle school was like for them!

Eventually, we made it to the beach! The beach is so beautiful there- Haystack Rock was also not far away- it was sometimes misted along the bottom and looked haunted and fake. Our beach time was filled up with- going to tidepools- playing baseball, ultimate Frisbee- and flag football (I didn't participate in that crazy game). The water was freezing, but nonetheless we still spent a lot of time there... We went into town and after waiting 3 years, we were able to go to a little candy store that has the best salt water taffy EVER! we got giant lollipops too! From town, I got a charm, anklet, and crepe. One day, we rode on little bikes (pic below) across the beach and it was long, hard, and super fun! My cousin and I also spent a lot of time taking pictures of flowers- of course on my brand new camera. We were sad to leave the beautiful place- but I was happy to know that I had Girl's Camp next!

Girl's Camp was way fun and very spiritual... I loved every minute of it and made a ton of new friends... Kind of a change though- We were now in the mountains where it was cold... I love the beach a lot more!
