disneyland
So the week we were supposed to leave back home I heard that my cousin and her family were going to Disneyland that Saturday! We were talking about how cool it would be if I could come, but at that time, it was only a dream. My cousin and I finally figured out details about how I would get back home and expenses and other stuff like that. Through a very hilarious and formal letter we asked my mom if I could go. The half hour of waiting downstairs in my cousin's room was agonizing. We listened to Disney music, tried to keep high spirits but knew that I wouldn't get to go. After the half hour my mom gave the surprising answer, YES!! My cousin and I screamed joyfully in our pillows for a while and then got to planning the day at Disneyland and California Adventure. After that, my cousin figured out that we would go on the 55th anniversary!! The week of waiting and constant planning seemed to take forever, but it led up to one of the best days of my life. We had SSOOOOO much fun and even though we only got 2 hours of sleep the night before, we had an awesome time and got to watch Fantasmic at the end of the day. I also faced my fears and went on an amazing roller coaster, Screamin'. The only ride I didn't like out of both parks was Tower of Terror. Other than that, it was a day I will always remember.
